The Place of Podcasting in the Field of Contemporary Mass Media.
What kinds of podcasts do you find interesting?
I find interesting podcasts created by famous radio representatives or journalists. It`s always interesting to find out opinion of specialist or just interesting person. I like British music very much that`s why I listen to podcasts from Xfm`s site (Xfm – is UK`s music radio station).
Would you like to have your own podcast? What would it be about? Who can be its taget audience?
I wouldn`t like to create my own podcast because I like to write article more than speak. But if I would like to have it I want to create program about new music genres. My target audience maybe young people which interests in music, maybe they would like to be musicians in their future.
Can you predict the future of podcasting? Is it a fad or a trend?
I thin it`s a trend the same as digital television and other type of new media. It`s hard to estimate about future of podcasts cause it`s predecessor (traditional radio) is still very popular. I think in the future it will be on-line mix with different types of information: texts, videos and podcasts. Of course.
